Rally in the Valley Recap
AFSCME Local 4041 leaders across Nevada came together this weekend in Las Vegas to chart a course to secure collective bargaining rights - the power to negotiate wages, benefits and conditions of employment with our employer. Acquiring these collective bargaining rights will give us greater ability to advocate for our communities, our families, and our jobs.
During the leadership conference, attendees worked together to create a clear path to achieve real respect on the job, planned opportunities to engage in the legislative process, and participated in trainings so that we are better advocates for ourselves and our coworkers. We have a unique opportunity in Nevada history to pass collective bargaining legislation. Together, we will make it happen!
