Nevada Delegate Nominations and Election Schedule for the 2026 AFSCME International Convention

This notice is to inform you of the upcoming nominations and voting schedule for Nevada delegates to the AFSCME International Convention.  AFSCME Local 4041 will have eight delegates; their hotel and travel to Chicago will be paid in accordance with the Local 4041 member travel policy. Delegates must be able to attend the convention in full for all days, including travel days. The conference will be held August 17 -21, 2026, with travel days on Aug 16th and 22nd.

Nominations for Nevada delegates to the AFSCME International Convention are now open!

  • Self-nominations are permitted
  • You can only nominate other AFSCME Local 4041 members  
  • To be eligible to nominate, you must be a union member who paid full dues in the month of April 2026 
  • All nominations must be made using the form included with this notice. You can also download the form at www.nvafscme.org  
  • Each nominee must be on a separate form and filled out completely
  • No walk-in nomination will be accepted

Nomination forms must be received by mail or email no later than 12:00 PM on June 15th, 2026
